Skooter 1965 - 1968

1965 - 1968: Straight Leg Skooter. She was sold with blond, titian and brunette hair styled in pigtails with red ribbons

Just like Barbie had her friends, Midge and Ken, Skipper also had two friends; Skooter and Ricky

1965-68: Little freckled-face Straight Leg Skooter shared the same straight-leg body as Skipper. She was sold with a red/white two-piece swimsuit, gold wire stand, red flats ('Japan'), booklet and a small comb and brush. Just like Skipper, the early dolls have 'tan' vinyl and the later (Mod) dolls are 'pink skin.'

1966-67: Skooter with bendable legs was sold. She looked just like her straight leg sister above (and accessories were the same), except the box was a bit different (lime green)and her swimsuit became a short set with blue jean shorts and a red/white polka dot ruffled top.   Once again the earlier dolls were tan skin and the later dolls were pink skin.
