The Restoration Process -
How does it work?

Please email me with a list
of what you would like to have restored, and I will send you my address
information.
If you have a spam blocking filter on your email address, please add me
(RestorBabs@aol.com) to your 'safe'
list before you email me.
Please ship your entire doll (as opposed to the head only). This is very important so I do not have to handle the head and hair.
Please send your dolls nude (no clothing or jewelry please!)
Please use: white
tissue and/or 1 - 2 pieces of bubble wrap, or other plain packaging paper
(nothing colored or printed)
Just one piece of scotch tape is fine, please, so I don't have to struggle to
free dolls from tightly taped up packets or use scissors anywhere
near the dolls*
Please do not send your dolls enclosed in individual cardboard doll
display boxes. These are bulky, expensive to ship, and I have no room to store
them while your dolls are
here.
Photos - I regret
that I am unable to take 'before' and 'after' photos of all dolls.
Therefore please take desired 'before' photos before you ship your package.
Please send 1 - 12 dolls per appointment. If you have more than 12, please let me know. I am always happy to make special arrangements!
*Please do not send payment with your
doll(s) unless we have already discussed the exact cost.*

is all that is necessary.

Therefore please take desired 'before' photos before you ship your package.

I respond to emails and restore Monday - Friday
Packages are generally picked up on Tues., Thurs., and Fri.
If your name and/or email are on your package return address, I will notify you via email as soon as your package is safely in my possession (Otherwise I may not be able to notify you until I have opened your package).
After I have had a chance to open your package, I will email you my assessment, and we will finalize, via email, your restoration list and total cost at that time. Please note that packages are opened on a first come - first served basis, so your patience is much appreciated!
I will then email you when
your payment arrives safely.
Payment must be received in full before I begin
restoring your dolls.
Turn Around Time: When payment arrives I will give you an estimated completion / ship date. I will then confirm the actual shipping date via an email from usps.com with your label information.
I treat every doll with great care, as if she were my own. While I do my best to return your dolls in a timely manner, I take great pride in my art work and in making sure that restorations are done correctly.
Please expect a turn-around
time of 3 - 4 weeks after payment is received for most
restoration services.
For re-roots and green ear treatments the turn-around time will vary.
A rush order (one week turn around from the time payment is
received) may be possible.
Rush service is an additional $50 per
doll + Express mail charge.
